Magical Hike Today

Meow and I went hiking again this am. Weather was great-about 36 degrees (F) when we started. We only went 3.5 miles but had a lot more (steep) up and down today. It had snowed just enough to leave a light icing on the logs and ground. When the sun came out it warmed enough that it seemed to be raining from the snow melting off the trees. We could see the "rain" and mist rising off the ground while looking toward the sun-simply beautiful! We also saw several turkeys; when we stopped for a lakeside snack several ducks were crawling on our boots begging for a handout. A magical hike with my Meow.  Lash.

Sounds very beautiful. Was wondering what part of the country you live in. I'm in the deep south and we don't get frost for weeks yet.

Have a blessed evening,

Lady

SNOW????? Its only just september!!! WOW, we don't get snow until around feb/march, and only then if we are lucky; even then, it rarely lasts more than a day or two.... I remember being at work early this year; it began to snow, we watched out the window, it was beautiful.... we took the children out to build a snowman. I was so looking forward to getting out of work! But by the time I did, the snow had all gone.... :(
Your walk sounds wonderful, really special. I am glad you guys are getting to spend so much time together. Make every second count, thats my advice to all of you who are blessed to be with your partner.

How wonderful, that does sound magical Lash. I would have loved to have been here.

I love the snow but as Daisy says we rarely get any here in the UK.

Glad you were able to spend time together.

Love.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
Lady, We live in the Rocky Mountains at considerable elevation.
Daisy and Ronnie-we are very aware of this blessing of having time together. We've started our Reiki sessions again which is a special bond between us. Daisy I hope you and Davey can get together soon!

Lash, the real question is, did you pack some of the chocolate cake for snacking? :) CD

Excellent CD! It would have tasted yummy for our lakeside snack.

It's so beautiful this time of year. More aspen are turning every day. The bull elk are bugling and rounding up their harems of elk cows.

Love to All. Lash

It sounds amazing. I flew over the Rockies last week. I will miss the snow we got in the winter on the west coast. I am sure Florida will not see any. I can always enjoy through your blog. ;)

Thanks Katia,

Daisy, It's so awesome for someone to notice our lack of posting. I've had a very nasty cold and asthma for 3 weeks and we are in the middle of a major financial planning review.

Love, Lash

Notice? Of course I notice! You are my friends, and I miss you when you are not around!! Hugs, hope you feel better soon. Best wishes with the financial planning review...I had one of those with my bank manager the other week. He said, "you have no money in your account; you have been living on your overdraft for 2 years now. When do you expect to be able to pay this back?" I said, "I know I have no money! Thats why I am living on yours...and whaddya mean, pay it back??? While you charge such exorbitant interest, I will never be able to pay it back!" There endeth the planning review. He escorted me out...xxxxxxxxxxxxx
